The Guardian – Damien Hirst Competition

Brief Description: Guardian commissioned adrich to build a competition website to promote their biggest giveaway in the last few years. Phase 1 was a pre-registration page with a flash countdown timer, data capture and video player. Phase 2 involved a registration facility with a crossword style competition (20 questions over 20 days)

The Mirror – Change 4 Life

Brief Description: Nine out of ten of today’s children are at risk of becoming overweight or obese by 2050. The Change4Life was a massive cross media national campaign designed to help parents identify ways to make family life healthier. The Mirror website was part of that and was built to reinforce the ‘Change 4 Life’ message.

The microsite has been built to promote RICS Valuation Standards and allow RICS Members to download The Red Book.

Playing With The City

Brief Description: Our take on Nissan’s ‘Playing With The City’ campaign for the QASHQAI. We hooked up with free runners from Urban Freeflow to see how they play with the city. To put the QASHQAI through its paces we gave it to a motoring expert, a free runner and an architecture writer for their views of the car. Plus free running videos, TV ads and information on the key features of the QASHQAI.

RICS Public Sector Management


Client: The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
Agency: The vanilla pod
Brief Description: Working in partnership with RICS and The Vanilla Pod we created a Microsite with the facility to download RICS’s new best Practice guideline. Instead of sending out to all their 16,000 members, they chose an online solution to allow their users to be able to download the whole Guideline, or individual chapters.
Details: Site designed, built, hosted and maintained by adrich. PHP and MySQL solution as well as being AAA compliant.
Result: The print and post cost savings alone more than covered their outlay for the Microsite. The huge success of the project has prompted other departments to follow suit. The site is currently live.
